Formation of a sequence of images from hand drawn, painted, or formed out of any other artistic method which changes over a period of time to show an impression of movement is called animation.   1. Experimental AnimationAnimators use colorful post-it squares as pixels and arrange them on a wall and animate them around. This use of an everyday thing is the USP of experimental animation. From food to furniture, anything can be animated by this type of animation.
  2. 2D Animation:This type of animation is widely used in a number of creative industries. From Cartoon series to video games, all are done using 2D Animation. The reason why 2D Animation is so much popular and widely used is because 2D Animation is flexible and can be done on a wide range of platforms.
  3. 3D Animation:Computer Generated Images (CGI) that produces the impression of three dimensional spaces with great precision is 3D Animation. 3D Animation is the most accepted form of animation is used in anything from TV shows, video games, and feature films.
  4. Clay Animation:Clay Animation is like stop motion. It is the same process but clay is used for most of the characters, objects, and backdrops.
  5. Paint-on-glass Animation:This method of animation is not very commercially viable but it is very eye-catching. Paint-on-glass animation method needs the handling of slow-drying oil paints on sheets of glass to create the feeling of motion.
